Another attack at Ugwuomu,Emene Village in Enugu State by the Fulani herdsmen

The Fulani herdsmen are at it again, they just attacked people that went to fetch firewood in their own farmland yesterday at Ugwuomu village at Emene Enugu East Local government area of Enugu State. The picture below is a man cut at the skull by the Fulani herdsmen while he was fetching firewood in a farmland, but to the glory of God he escaped death.

As it is right now the villagers are on the run with their families,including the neighboring villages.

The people of Ugwuomu no longer go to the stream to fetch water nor to the farm to farm and do other farm activities due to the fear of the Fulani herdsmen. They hardly move around in the night for the fear of the Fulani herdsmen.

From the look of things it's very obvious the Fulani herdsmen attacks remote villages where it's nearly impossible to get security aid from the police nor other security personnel. Putting fear in the minds of the people. This is becoming too much for the people of Enugu state,for how long will this continue. Nothing seems to be done about it.

Below is the picture of Okechukwu Ezeh an NYSC Corp member who just passed out with this last batch, lying helplessly at National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu. He came back to his village at Uzo-uwani after his NYSC, few days after he came back was when the Fulani herdsmen attacked Uzo-uwani village in Enugu State.

While I was there with the igboist group lead by Afikpo Chick to deliver relive items, I saw the anger in his face, he couldn't turn properly to look at us, he couldn't talk to us. I watched him make sign and the nurse approached him, he whispered to the nurse he wanted to change the position he was lying. Talking to the nurse, the nurse told us he can't move his body all by himself or else being helped. The nurse also said he has been in a very bad mental and emotional state, since the injury affected his head. I was filled with tears watching a young vibrant youth like me in such state.

Please the Government should do something about this guy's situation whom just finished serving our great and blessed country Nigeria. God bless Igboist group, God bless Afikpo Chick and God bless anyone who in one way or the other aided this victims. God save our lovely nation Nigeria. Amen..
