Attacks by the Fulanis has been consistent at milikin Hill, stealing and kidnapping women whom they rape and demand for ransom before they are released. Subsequently the fulani herdsmen would enter farm lands with their cows and destroy crops in the name of grazing there women and children would steal corn, yams and other farm produce of Ngwo people. Years back the people of etiti ngwo killed two of their cows while grazing on a crop farm land in the village. The people of Ngwo and Enugu state now live in great fear because no one knows when they will strike again.I myself had to leave ngwo for my own safety. Earlier in the week the fulani herdsmen sent a letter of attack to the chief of Ngwo Ato in ngwo Enugu state, swearing to destroy them.As i write to you now people are vacating there homes to the city.

The question remains, why should igbos be living in fears in their own land. The Bishop of Anglican Church of Nigeria His Lordship Bishop Chukwuma warned all the Igbo's to stop consuming beef, no one should either buy nor sell and as well asked Christians across the nation to pray and fast.
